Just got the email below from the good folks at Concord Outfitters. Sounds like a blast. The Eastern Branch should be amply stocked by then, as this coming weekend is the Trout Unlimited Indian Hollow gathering.

Don’t worry, we will be having our annual shop cookout! This year, “Free Fishing Weekend” for the state of Massachusetts is on June 3rd and 4th. On Sunday June 4th, from 11:30 pm-1 pm we will be hosting our shop cookout and grilling up some hotdogs on the bank of the Westfield River in the Chesterfield Gorge Reservation. This is a great opportunity to introduce a friend or a significant other who doesn’t currently fish to the great sport of fly fishing.

Make the drive our west, fish the morning, grab some lunch with good friends, stay and enjoying the evening rise on one of the most picturesque rivers in the state. We hope to see you all there!
